PCB Wastewater Treatment Introduction

Printed Circuit Board (Referred to as PCB) is Very Difficult for Treatment Owing to Various Pollutants with Complex Components which Contain Wastewater with Multiple Heavy Metals and Organics.

Comprehensive Wastewater

Before entering the biological   treatment, the pH is adjusted with NaOH to generate copper hydroxide   precipitation, then removing the precipitation with coagulants and   flocculants.

AO+MBR

Biological method as the main treatment   process of PCB wastewater by microorganisms action, organic matter can be   converted into H2O, CO2 and CH4, membrane as a post-processing process of   biological treatment, plays the role of mud-water separation with stable   effluent water quality, small footprint, operation management boundary, easy   to achieve automatic control and other significant advantages.

Complex Wastewater

Under acidic conditions, iron salts and   complexing agents are used to release copper ions, and then the copper ions   are removed by coagulation and precipitation before entering the biochemical   pond.

Wastewater with Nickel & Cyanide

Firstly, use the secondary chlor-alkali   method to break the cyanide, then adjust the wastewater pH to11 to remove the   precipitate of nickel hydroxide after it is produced.

Organic Wastewater

The waste acid is used for acid   extraction, after the solid formation is taken out, then mixed it with   organic wastewater for treatment. Organic wastewater contains complexed   copper, which needs to be treated by breaking the complex and removing copper   to form insoluble precipitation from free copper ion under alkaline condition   before removing it and discharging it into biochemical system.

The pre-treated wastewater is firstly   hydrolyzed and Acidified in the Biochemical Pit, the macromolecular organic   matter is decomposed into small molecular organic matter to improve the   biodegradability of the wastewater

Technical Features 

Completely destroy the chelating agent & complexing agent in complexation waste water to make them permanently lose the force of chelate and complexing by biological treatment technology with decomposing enzyme of microbial anaerobes.

The Process of “Acidification - Anaerobic - Dosing Activated Sludge " to treat PCB organic wastewater with good effect and economical technology for removing COD, copper ion and ammonia nitrogen.

Wastewater Reuse Process: Pretreatment +RO System, Effluent Conductivity 100 ~ 150s.

 

PCB Wastewater Treatment Project-Performance 

The Corrugated Membrane Units has been running for one year with stable flux at 15LMH without attenuation on both side of the left and right, and no obvious mud accumulation when it is finally lifted out for inspection. Although the surface of the membrane unit is red due to iron ions influence, there is no serious fouling.
The cleaning frequency keeps around once every three weeks with acid and alkali cleaning, and the recovery effect after cleaning is better.
